The main duties of the position will be to perform complex engineering designs, exercising judgment in evaluation, selection, and modification of standard engineering techniques and procedures. May be a technical resource, direct and interact with a small to medium size staff of professionals and technicians. Keywords: Transmission Line Engineer/EIT, 121553 Requirements - Mechanical or Civil Engineering Degree required. - 2 years of transmission line design experience is required. - Specific experience performing all aspects of line design including: PLSCADD, structure analysis, project cost estimates, plan and profile preparation, optimization, specifications and drawings, and other engineering documents required for power transmission line projects through 500kV. - Overhead power transmission is the focus of this position although any underground - Permanent - Full-time
