The Software Engineer has responsibilities extending to the development of systems software within the the "MR of the future" working group of GE's global MR business unit with the mission to develop, design, and prototype magnets, coils, and applications for new MR scanner generations. Essential Responsibilities • Program and design new applications • Reorganize existing IT platforms • Write software, documentation and operating manuals, • Write mainframe computer job control systems • Testing and modifying systems to ensure that that they operate reliably. • MR system management • MR sequence programming • Lead change through creative solutions to unstructured product and system design issues • Optimize team's participation in all phases of product development - Permanent - Full-time
