MSDSonline - Chicago, IL - JOB DESCRIPTION: The role of the Sales Manager is to achieve sales quota by executing an overall sales strategy that meets corporate objectives of sales and earnings growth. A Sales Manager is expected to develop and manage a sales team. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The Sales Manager will be responsible for the execution of MSDSonline's sales strategy for sales to existing customers as well as emerging product segments. Responsible for the development and performance of all sales representatives assigned to his/her team. Provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. The right individual will be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, someone who is comfortable working on new start up initiatives, has an ability to architect plans and takes a find-a-way to make it happen mentality when it comes to achieving goals.
