Rochester, NY - Our client a market leading manufacturer are looking to recruit a Team leader to work at their very busy Rochester based site. Your role will be to lead the production shift team to ensure that the agreed Department objectives are achieved, thereby contributing to the successful completion of the Regional Business Plan. Through teamwork and continuous improvement the effective leadership of all shift activities will focus upon four key priorities, Safety, Quality, Service and Cost . Your duties will include: Monitor and maintain health and safety plan. Supervision of team members for the duration of each shift period, monitoring and recording attendance and individual and collective manufacturing performance. Reduce waste in all processes Training and developing Conduct quality checks on produced stock Maintain all records and documentation relating to the production shift and submit to the production office for processing at the end of each shift.
