City Of Cambridge - Cambridge, MA - Duties and Responsibilities The City of Cambridge manages its own Citywide Wide Area Network We are seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Network Engineer The successful candidate must have experience designing acquiring and implementing mission critical networking infrastructure The position includes the responsibility for infrastructure architecture design acquisition implementation and testing of network technologies It will define document and implement strategy direction and architectures for the citywide networking environment This position requires extensive and broad functional experience with switching routing firewall VPN wireless and network management Such components include but are not limited to telecommunications routersfirewalls and other networking devices This position is also responsible for providing enhancements to existing network services Specific duties include but are not limited to the following Plan design modify and deploy various network to - Permanent - Full-time
