Society for Neuroscience - Washington DC - The Society for Neuroscience (SfN) has an immediate opening for a Help Desk Technician SfN is the worlds largest organization of scientists and physicians devoted to advancing the understanding of the brain and nervous system The Help Desk Technician role ensures proper computer operation enabling end users to accomplish business tasks This includes receiving prioritizing documenting and resolving enduser help requests Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools as well as require providing inperson handson help at the desktop level As the Help Desk Technician you will Use electronic help desk ticketing system to log track and document resolution of all help requests Build rapport and elicit problem details from help desk customers Prioritize and schedule projectstasks Transfer problems (when required) to the appropriately experienced department member Record track and document the help desk request problemsolving process through to final resol - Permanent - Full-time Apply For this job
