Mine Safety Appliances (MSA) - Cranberry Township, PA - Description of duties and responsibilities This position reports to the Detection Engineering Manager for Fixed Instruments and will be a handson contributor with demonstrated capabilities that include but are not limited to the following Apply all basic and some specialized knowledge of electronic design engineering Assume technical leadership of hardware development within a project This may also include supervision or work direction to junior engineers or technicians Handson participation on crossfunctional project teams in the development of new industrial products The job will include any necessary tasks including documentation and validation of final product designs Integration of electronic designs with software mechanical test and manufacturing capabilities in order to ensure successful products are delivered on time while meeting agreed upon product performance specifications Expected travel is a maximum 5 Special knowledge skills and abilities required This position will be - Permanent - Full-time
