El Paso County - El Paso, TX - The Chief Technology Officer provides vision and leadership in administering all Information Technology (IT) activities of the County and its partner agencies The CTO is also a community leader in shared services opportunities and projects to make the most efficient and effective use of taxpayer dollars The CTO is also responsible for all administrative personnel and department operations Acceptable Experience and Education Bachelors degree from an accredited university in Computer Science Business Administration or a related field with emphasis in Computer Science courses minimum of 10 years experience in the Information Technology field with 5 years minimum in an executive level capacity in a comparably sized entity utilizing equivalent technology or any equivalent combination of educations experience and training which provides the required knowledge skills and abilities Certificates and Licenses RequiredMust have or obtain by date of hire Texas drivers license applicable to job re - Permanent - Full-time
