Charter College - Canyon Country, CA - ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF NURSING JOB DESCRIPTION POSITION DESCRIPTION The Assistant Director of Vocational Nursing assists in the administration, organization, direction and supervision of the Vocational Nursing Program. The Assistant Director shall meet all qualifications as required by the Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians of the State of California, Department of Consumer Affairs. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in maintaining standards of education and accreditation by the Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians, the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education in the State of California, and other accrediting bodies. Assist the Director of Vocational Nursing Program as required and substitute for the Director of Vocational Nursing Program when such authority is delegated.
